REIN does not endorse any persons, organizations, companies, vendors or advertisers. REIN and its programs are designed to be educational, motivational and enjoyable. Guest Speakers and Instructors primarily discuss techniques and methods that work for them. Whenever actions involving purchases, sales, contracting or tenant relations are being considered, rely upon the advice of your own real estate professionals, lawyers, accountants and Realtors. Always seek competent legal advice concerning any purchase of any real estate or real property.

Sharing your information
National REIA may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and sponsors. This information is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual National REIA member.

National REIA also partners with other businesses to provide specific member services. When members sign up for National REIA services provided by other business partners through the National REIA site, National REIA will share personally identifiable information that is necessary for the third party to provide such services. These business parties are required to use personally identifiable information exclusively for the purpose of providing these services.

Code of Ethics
REIN members are expected to be civic minded and willing to operate with high standards of honesty and integrity. It is our duty to conduct ourselves with the highest principles of the free enterprise system. We wish REIN to be synonymous with competency and fairness. As REIN members, we hereby bind ourselves to this code of ethics.

  1. We shall not discriminate against any person with regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, sex, handicap or familial status as defined by current law.
  2. We shall recognize that real estate is a service related industry.
  3. We shall refrain from engaging in any illegal practices, or defrauding any member, customer or associate, with the aim of always conducting business in a professional manner.
  4. We shall endeavor to stay informed and updated on matters affecting housing in our communities, and adhere to local, state and federal laws.
  5. We are all individually responsible for our own due diligence and continuing education. Members are expected to verify any and all assumptions regarding business decisions to prevent falling victim to fraud, misrepresentations and illegal practices.

Further, if any allegations of conduct considered detrimental to the purposes and interests of REIN are received in a written and signed communication to the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee will consider the matter. Should a decision to take further action be made, the Secretary shall furnish a copy of said allegation(s) to the accused, who shall be given adequate time to reply. Thereafter, the Board of Directors shall take such further action as it may deem proper and in accordance with the bylaws.
